COVID. Rioting. Social injustice. I think it’s safe to say that we all need a stiff drink at the moment. For me, it’s a Negroni made with Pink House Gin, Bermuda’s newest spirit distilled with island-inspired botanicals including hibiscus, mint and blood orange. Thirsty for more? Called Island Special, it features four creative cocktails served in four of Bermuda’s finest bars and restaurants (like Barracuda, where master mixologist Ryan Gibbons invented the Cardinal’s Clutch, a spin on a classic cocktail known as the French 75 with Pink House Gin, poppy cordial, fresh lime juice, Peychaud’s bitters and splash of Champagne). As versatile as it is delicious, the rose-colored gin is one of my new faves from the Bermuda Gin Company and can be purchased locally at Miles Market. Cheers!
