Ok, I’ll admit. I’m a pretty lucky guy. For over 11 years now my wife and I have called this mid-Atlantic archipelago home—a place that’s as naturally beautiful as it is historically significant. In fact, natural beauty is a resource that Bermuda has in abundance, so my family and I make sure to take advantage of its bounty at every opportunity. On this day we cruised out to Mangrove Bay near the currently shuttered Cambridge Beaches Resort. It was one of those picture-perfect days, with blue skies and warm breezes. Quintessential Bermuda stuff—and so my family set out to explore. What we found was this secluded peninsula, which stares onto volcanic rock formations and a seemingly endless turquoise horizon. Needless to say the boys were thrilled with their new playground for the day and we were all delighted to get some much needed fresh air. I hope you can find a similar place of solace in your own homes. Have a great weekend, everyone.
